What to do in Minnetonka
Historic places, restaurants, recreation
There are a variety of places to go and see in Minnetonka. Some of the more popular places to visit are the Charles H Burwell House on the National Historic Register, The Landing Shop, for unusual gifts, Grays Bay Dam park-the headwaters of Minnehaha Creek where you can launch canoes and kayaks. Enjoy wine? Come to Spasso on Minnetonka Blvd. for a huge variety of wines at affordable prices. One of my favorite places for a burger and a beer is The Gold Nugget on Excelsior Blvd in the Glen Lake area of Minnetonka. One of my favorite places to shop for unique gifts is The General Store-especially at Christmas time! Take a dip in Shady Oak Lake during the hot summer months. All summer long you can watch baseball at Bennett Family Park .
